Singapore - The Sunday wander

Like Sunday in most places, it often starts our quiet and slow.  Singapore is much the same.  If you get out early in the day it is a very quiet and peaceful place......but by mid-afternoon the streets are full of vehicles and people.
Wandering through the prime shopping area on a Sunday afternoon you start to realize how many people really are packed in to a very small island space.
Another warm and humid day...without the wind it gets steamy quickly.  But it is the same everyday so no surprise in that regard.

Singapore - Saturday bike group

Was out for a morning wander and a group of Saturday bikers zoomed on by me.  I made my loop and as I got back near the hotel a found them all on their break.   I decided to say hello and share bike stories back and forth from half way around the world.
They are much more organized and serious than we are......but they didn't need to know all the details!

Singapore - New neighborhood, New Sites to see

Back in Singapore again as well.  Staying in a different section of the city and a whole new world of things to see.
This time I am off Orchard Road - the premiere shopping area.  And there are plenty of shopping areas to choose from but this is miles of shopping all on one street.
Plenty warm and humid - a nice breeze has helped a day or two of the trip.
