A year ago it as 97F on this date. Today we had a perfect day in the high seventies. I had an event but decided I better take some time to walk and enjoy the day a bit before I went back inside.
Lynn, who started taking piano lessons again 15 years ago, had a recital tonight - so a destination and a event.
The walk over the Mississippi both early and after dark was wonderful and the McPhail Center is a wonderful spot to hang and enjoy any musical event.
I didn't know the new 35W bridge had lights in the evening.
And a perfect evening to sit out and enjoy the evening on a patio in the heart of the city.
The recital brought back so many memories of my days of lessons, recitals, theory classes and of course the Concerto Events...
