Saint Paul MN - Labor Day Weekend gathering, once again

 

 

Once again, we gather.  Great way to end the summer with one last bbq before we head in to fall and potentially iffy days to use the grill.  

Got to enjoy a great evening outside before sitting for dinner.   

Saint Paul MN - Minnesota State Fair Day once again

Margie, Maura and I have a yearly date at the MN State Fair.  Years ago they let me join the party.  Bill has started to be a more regular member to the party.  Jenny a time or two and this year she came as well as Joe her husband.  We had a party of people for sure. 

We also got a great weather day and covered both old and new ground - and stayed longer than usual. Another successful fair outing - and just a great day all the way around with lots of fun people.   

Bloomington MN - A bit of extra culture in Bloomington

 

Took in Singing in the Rain and got a few other surprises with it.   

New York NY - Sunny day

 

Mostly cloudy and smoky - same Canadian smoke here.  Today the sun was out but you could still see the smoke in the air.  

Took an upper west side wander in the AM - and here and there after that in the PM.   

New York NY - Summer in the city

Not too hot and the usual August steaminess in NYC.  But always a great place to hang no matter what the weather offers up. 

Hanging with a few friends and enjoyed an evening with Neil's work mates.  Nice night to hang outside on the waterfront.  

Finished off the day with a great chat at the hotel bar with a great local - lucky me.
