We have had almost two weeks of arctic cold - still tried to get out and move a bit every day...it's only a half mile one way to the newspaper!
Anyhow, we did what we did and with Covid we all just stayed home even more.
Things have finally broke, but in the midst of the severe cold we had an artist who created a frame and have created a great work of ice art.....hearts for the frigid valentines weekend.
An even colder night tonight, but the Mac guys wandered to the end of campus and we hung out and finally got to all get caught up. Niketh was back home for the first term and we have all stayed in our respective Covid boxes.
Even added a bit of birthday celebrating to the evening.
Sent them off with -31F wind chill outside - worst couple days of our winter so far.
We braved both the weather and all the Covid rules to get a bit of celebrating done for Dan's 31st Birthday.
A super warm early February day - so got out and enjoyed the sun with a great walk with a great mate around downtown Minneapolis.
Finished the day with a bit of a hang out with Mary - and Margie crashed our party. Mary is vaccinated so we were all good - or so we decided.....
