Saint Paul MN - Water keeps rising, but near peak

The river keeps rising but it appears we are close to peaking.
Cool but sunny weekend - and even a few snow flurries to finish off the weekend.

Saint Paul MN - Flood time

At least we are getting warm sunny days to get out and check out the rising water in the downtown area.
Looks like we are close to peaking, at least with this wave.  Who knows what else may come if it rains and the melt continues.

Saint Paul MN Wandering Snelling Avenue North

After the stop at the Soccer Arena I just kept moving north.
Stopped for a wander through Hamline U before heading back south to the Mac neighborhood.
Lots of great things lurking along the alley or around the corner off the main drag.

Saint Paul MN - Minnesota United Open House - for someone, not me

Another great spring day so I took off and started up Snelling and just kept on going.
Turns out our new Minnesota United Soccer Stadium was gathering a crowd for an open house of some sort, probably season ticket holders.
I got all the way through security before someone let me know I needed a ticket to get that final three steps and in to the arena.... alas, another day with a ticket to a game I guess.
Seems like there is a new feature every time I go by - first game is just weeks away.

Goodhue MN - 1, 2, 3....10....50...67 - Another Birthday for Greg

Another birthday celebration for Greg - this year we mark 67.
A quieter but still a great night of fun, laughs, conversation and great food.
Flora still got out all the good sterling to make it a festive and lovely event - despite the smaller menu.
On to 68.

Saint Paul MN - Mini Golf, Pasta and Ice Cream

Spring Break at Mac so we headed off for year two at CanCanWonderland for a round of mini-golf.   We followed that up with an Italian feast and a free birthday Sundae.
Rohil joined the party with Alex and Niketh.  We all needed the Niketh style nap after all that.......

Saint Paul MN - Everyone's in town

Eileen was in town, Nancy was on her way to Rochester and Dana and John were ready to show of the work-in-progress house off a bit so we all found a parking spot and check-out the house.
Even Jimbo found his way in to town today.
Then we all headed back to Saint Paul and were joined by some Macs on Spring Break and had a pizza party.
