Saint Paul MN - Christmas Day - lots of noise the usual chaos

We got the day started getting Kristijan off to the airport for his week in Mexico.
We had 22 for dinner and a few others in and out throughout the day.  And many of the Pfaff's were able to join us as well.
We woke up to snow so winter has finally arrived.

Great weather and we had a good sized crowd for Christmas Eve.
Dawit came in from New York and Kristijan had one more night in the cold before he headed to the sun in Mexico.
Cloudy night so missed the full moon - will just have to wait for the next one.  We took the scenic route back via Rice Park in downtown Saint Paul and then Summit Avenue to catch the holiday lights.

Sounds like we may have 25 at different times over the Christmas Day - and most for dinner.  Here we go, the house is ready.

Always takes some maneuvering but we found a time that worked for all of us to gather as the first term of the year ended and everyone got off for their long, much deserved, break.

Minneapolis MN - Lunchtime skyway wandering

Usually try to walk over lunch in the skyways in downtown Minneapolis.
Always a surprise or two.  Yesterday after most of my walk I grabbed a salad and all of a sudden an old friend that had been MIA for years and years was there in front of me.

What a great Christmas surprise.  Not enough time to get totally caught up but we got a great start on it - and expect we will be getting together again soon in the new year.
