Saint Paul MN - Getting the update with the Mac Guys

I had my month of stories and Danny, Davide, Petar and Clemens had their's as well.  Good evening of getting caught up and share a few laughs.  Davide made a quick appearance and then had to get back to the action - but staying for the summer so will have the opportunity to see plenty of him.

Goodhue MN - one last stop - Greg turned 60

The stars seemed to  be aligned right - got in 35 minutes early, the bags were out in less than 15 minutes and I was out the door and Margie was there and we were off.
We arrived in time for dinner to celebrate Mr. Nixon's 60th  birthday dinner.  Made through the evening and Mary got me home before I totally collapsed and called it a day.

London England - last stop...

The end is near.  Last stop London.  Fully booked here so hardly got more than a block or two from the hotel.  The hotel is a converted courthouse - complete with cells for those coming before the court.  A great mix of old and new.
The final leg to a full round the world trip is about to begin.

Frankfurt Germany - Wandering in another direction

I had this idea after the great Saturday that I would rent a bike and zoom the day away around Frankfurt on Sunday - it turned out to be a grey, cold and rainy day.  Wandered a bit but it was just an ugly day.
We had a beautiful spring morning before we caught the train to Paris on Tuesday.
I wandered around the City a bit more but then hit the trail along the river.  Just like home the trail was filled with runners, walkers, biker and plenty ducks and geese that let everyone know where their space begins and ends.  An aggressive group of birds.
Lovely metro of about 2.5M people - financial center of Germany.  I kept passing tourist style buses as I wandered and as I headed back to the hotel caught the beginning of a "large" protest march - why I saw buses from all over Europe.
And were in a very cool spot for our event as well the day before.

Frankfurt Germany - A warmer than normal Saint Patrick's Day

Like Minnesotan's the people of Frankfurt are experiencing a much warmer than normal March Day - so you see the same abundance of shorts, tshirts and flipflops throughout the City and along the River.
Very easy and comfortable spot to roam - staying in the center near all the shopping and action.
So far have run across the Syrian Protest but have yet to find the St Patrick's Celebrating - but there is still plenty of day left.
