Cabo San Lucas Mexico - Waiting out the Tsunami

We were getting the early story about the earth quake and tsunami as we went to sleep. When we got up in the morning the harbor and beaches were all quiet - they had been closed in anticipation of the tsunami follow through heading towards the west coast.
We were staying in the beach side units so had ring side seats to take it all in.
It was a bit eerie all day with the empty beach and everyone talking about what may or may not happen. There was never a sense of a "huge" event here but since it was coming through it would be interesting to see something.
As it all turned out we had seen bigger and more angry waves on other trips. The water was doing some strange things but all in all it felt like a non-event when they finally opened things back up once again.
An interesting ending to another great trip.
