Madrid - a few glimpses

There are many more great shots and a running commentary on the city and history. Most of the pictures are from the area surrounding our office.

Madrid - the apartment

I am settled into the Company Apartment. It is a 2 plus mile walk to the office - so far doing it both ways each day. It is in the 30s/40s for the walk up and been in the 60s later in the day this week. It is a great walk - downhill all the way home. I get the blood moving all the way up in the morning. I have options to pass Parliment, Prado and Atoche along the way.

The apartment is on the first level - the unit just above and to the right of the door. the neighborhood has several parks and a school nearby. Easy access to the metro as well - will no doubt check that out one day soon when it cools down a bit more. I will be here until December 20.

Those big bins in the front of the picture are the metro wide recycling bins. You see them all over to drop your stuff.

Madrid - the office....the adventure begins

Arrived in Madrid on Monday November 26. The office is located in the Center City Area - very close to the Parliment Building and Prado Museum. We are located on level 5. It is a busy active place - and a outdoor deck that overlooks the area. In typical Spanish style, was being upgraded when I visited in October..................and still being completed.
