Saint Paul MN - Celebrating a big one

 

Celebrating Michael hitting the big 70.  One of the first people I met when I moved to Saint Paul in 1982. And evening of lots of great stories and memories.    

Fort Lauderdale FL - Finishing up

 

Finishing up this trip with the coolest and wettest days of the three weeks.  Much worse everywhere else but general a long stretch of grey and cool days.  Still good to get Naples a couple times and have some different scenery.  

Fort Lauderdale FL - Another direction

 

Usually head out in one of three directions.  Wandered a bit in the fourth - a few great street murals that definitely spruced it all up.  No doubt more to discover on another trip. 

Naples FL - Cheering on the Vikings

 

Headed over to Ed's to hang out and take in the Vikings game - another ugly loss.  Got a couple great days on the west side.  And some another unusual bird hanging out next to the Lanai. 

Fort Lauderdale FL - Mostly cool days

 

Not hot but certainly cold like the north.  Usually the days start out either side of 50 and then at the low end get almost 60F.  Have had a couple 80s - and lots of sun either way.

Another cold wave seems to be settling in once again, so a good time to get out and get off to less of that.  Off to Florida - basing in Fort Lauderdale.  Will see where else I wander.

Saint Paul MN - Go home when you are tired party one more time

 

The numbers jumped up and down but in the end we had 6 of us that gathered once again for the "go home when you are tired" NYE gathering.  Another fun night - and the weather was definitely agreeable.
