Fort Lauderdale FL - One last walk

 

Another great morning and one more neighborhood wander before I head to the airport and back to Saint Paul.  Could be a record warm day up there before winter comes back once again tomorrow.  

Fort Lauderdale FL - Boat Day

 

Walked up to the end of the water taxi route and then caught the ride back to the downtown area - nice ride through the inner waters and rivers of FTL.  You get to see lots of amazing homes, boats and even the cruise ship area - 5 ships sitting there today. 

And on the walk saw these two women in healthcare garb moving on down the sidewalk - chasing after a couple guests from "the home" that were just 4 blocks down the street off to nowhere.  Probably me one day down the road if my legs stay solid.  

Fort Lauderdale FL - Another great day

Started out with lots of clouds - but good for getting the walk in.  Clouds cleared and it remained a great day with a bit cooler evening ahead.

Finishing off trip three to Florida in Fort Lauderdale.  80F and windy today - warmest day so far this trip.  

Naples FL - The annual gathering

 

 

Brian and Peggy seem to find a way to be in Naples the same time I am every year.  And that gets all the rest to come by for a great evening - and some belated birthday celebrating as well. 

Fort Myers FL - Edison and Ford winter estates

 

Just off the downtown area on the water are the estates of Edison and Ford - their winter homes.  Ford worked for Edison before starting the car business and they remained friends.  Great find.
