Lake Mills WI - The public square and Church Street
Lake Mills is truly built around a lake and a public square in the center. And so many original buildings still around and being used.
Ran in to Church Street and at the end is a whole collection of churches - the name actually works!
Madison WI - Another rainy, gloomy day
Wandered further this AM hoping to beat the rain. Got about half way and got soaked the rest of the way back. Still able to catch a few interesting sites of the Capital City.
Despite the rain, there was a run of some sort off in one direction and it seemed like something additional off at the campus. Plus a busy farmers market in the rain surrounding the capital building.
Madison WI - Rainy weekend ahead all over the Midwest
Still grey and rainy at home - and not all that warm. So decided to head out but was also well aware the cool, grey and rainy is region wide - so just more of the same where ever you wander.
Always wanted to attend a spring pottery event near Madison so this is finally the year - will see hot it all goes.
Saint Paul MN - Award night at Mac
Got a great opportunity to see Alex recognized for all of his efforts and ongoing plans at Mac this week. Even got in to a building I have never had the opportunity to explore a bit.
Lots of other activities going on as well as I wandered up for the event - despite our never ending cool, grey start to spring.
Great to be invited back on campus once again as well - been a long time with Covid.
