Not sure if it was the wind or the lightning but this house down the street cushioned the fall of one monster tree branch.

Big wedding shower followed by the few of us left heading in to town and enjoying a grey, drizzling evening on the Saint Croix River.
Special gathering in Stillwater for the evening - the rest of us hung out at my place in Saint Paul for the evening. People kept arriving as the night went on and we found something to talk about well, well in to the evening.
Family event weekend so spent some time showing off the Twin Cities before the party celebrating began. Got a great sunny day before the grey weekend moved in.
Perfect Minnesota weather day and night. Had the Mac guys on the calendar so we had a spectacular night on the deck and finished up with a big choice of food inside.
Nam joined us as well - and we got a bit of driving practice in before the bbq.
Always lots of conversation and stories to share.
Got the bike ride in but struggled a bit with a spot to make our stop for coffee and treats. We had a table and 2 chairs but were 2 chairs short. So improvised and settled in to the bus stop and picked up 2 more chairs for our break.
Comfortably warm day and no humidity so after an early walk with the team decided to get a few miles on the bike in too. And saw this great bit of art along the way. For wall art, very quiet but very engaging when you see it.
It has been a horrible weather week for early June - excessive heat and humidity. And Saturday night it was warm but humidity broke and a pleasant breeze helped keep things cool.
A great party and celebration of my great friend Jim one of his most recent accomplishments. And a great night to connect up with many old friends I haven't seen in years and years.
