Saint Paul MN - Alum Halloween Zoom Reunion

Earlier in the week I got an invite to a Halloween Zoom call with some of the old Senteo Team - wigs, costumes and drink required.......

10AM for me when it kicked off, followed most of the requirements.  

Interesting to hear about all the success everyone has achieved over the last 10+ years - and the movement that has people all over the globe. 

What a fun surprise for this to come together.  Great to see people again after such an abrupt ending back in 2008.  Great news is that the company is back on the success track - and several new faces moving it forward.

With the onset of the early cold this year, we went for dinner inside with a bit more space than normal.  

Tested a new dish, and fortunately was a big hit.

Minneapolis MN - Cool, cool October Saturday

 

It seems like we may just be heading right in to winter....and we haven't gotten even got out of October.  We went from snow to cold.  More snow on the way - and then more cold. 

We have moved from bike season to walking season already.

We have never had 7.4 inches of snow this early in the year before - lucky us.  One more bit of crazy to the year 2020 that seems to find some new to make each crazier each week.

I had a few things I wanted to move around and it was the weekend before the first set of finals.  We were still able to find a time to rendezvous for a bit and get caught up on things.  

Lots of Covid stories to tell, as usual. And we caught up on a couple birthday celebrations as well before the night was over. 

Saint Paul MN - Lizzie came to town

 

5 days earlier we had a great night to sit on the patio and enjoy a pizza and a beer.  By Friday night, we were all bundled up and hoping to get a bit of warmth from the heater and hopeful the walls would break the wind.  

Fun evening, great to have Lizzie come to town but it was good to get in the car and turn on the heat.

Thursday was both cold and very, very windy.  We chose to walk instead of trying to get a ride in.  

Still found time and a warm airy spot to get a coffee and warm up a bit before the windy walk back.

Beautiful night to hang at The Saint Paul Brewery on the Eastside - part of the old Hamm's Brewery. 

Saint Paul MN - Great biking weather continues

 

Everyday this week was a great day - and the weekend turned out to be the same.  

Still lots of great fall views, but expect that the upcoming wind and rain will bring most of it down this next week.  

Gotta enjoy while we can - the dark winter of Covid it still ahead.

Saint Paul MN - Another day at the State Fair

 

How did I end up with 2 groups of friends with tickets to the fair - so off we went again........

A great  day weatherwise, and how can you not enjoy more fair food

Minneapolis MN - MIssissippi in an unusual state

 

Federal Corps of Engineers has opened up the dam to let the Mississippi go to it natural state so they can do inspections and maintenance.  Interesting to see spots that are usually full of water - and it sure brought out the crowds.  

And another great day for a bike ride....the days are numbered.
