Saint Paul MN - Sunny, humid weekend

Lots of sun and incoming humidity.  Ending the weekend with a big dousing of water - so far nothing dangerous. 
The highlight was a couple good bike rides and the never ending weed pulling. 

Rosemount MN - Hunter's Graduation Party

After joining the Hunter hockey fan club over the last few years, I sure couldn't miss the graduation party. 
On the way home from the day in Rochester.  We got sun but enough wind to keep the humidity out of our minds. 
And now Hunter on to his next adventure....

Rochester MN - Continuing the clean up

We locked in today to take a good wack at cleaning up the storage bin. 
We hit the ground running early, the sky was grey and then it started spitting a bit. 
We got through a good swatch and a run to donate and then the rain hit and it just kept on raining.
More to do, but I feel like we are over the big hump....

Saint Paul MN - Summer in bloom

It has been a great spring/summer for greenery - it has just flourished.  And now everything is popping and blooming. 
More rain tonight which can only help......

Saint Paul MN - A bit a neighborhood excitement after many quiet days

We lucked out, the talk of rain remained mostly talk until well in the afternoon.  So bike ride in - we headed to the East Side.
Even found a table at Nina's for a coffee and treat before we headed home.
Later in the day as I made the Ace run I ran across a mini-head on at the corner.  2 police, ambulance and a fire truck so lots of excitement but for less scary reasons. 

Rochester MN - Getting organized

Forgot the before, but remembered an after. 
Time to get the storage bin ready to be sorted, cleaned out and shut down. 
Didn't plan very well, hit one of our 90+ days.  But half we through the month we are in the top 10 in history for highest temp - so expect any day could be a hot day this year. 

Saint Paul MN - Another Patio Party

Beautiful Sunday night and we gathered at Sue's for brats and wine - and a bit of wind from time to time. 
A quick capture of an otherwise appropriately physically distanced evening. 

Saint Paul MN - Busiest 2 days in months

Wow, had a couple days that almost felt normal, but still appropriately physically distanced.
Friday was our usual early AM walk, another wander later in the day and a bbq with my Mac guys.
Saturday was an AM bike ride, rendezvous at my house with family and then dinner at Margie's in Stillwater. 
So much going on the only pic I caught was a great blue heron that dropped in next door while Margie and I hung out on her deck. 

Saint Paul MN - Sprucing up our plywood city

We have moved from getting the plywood up on every storefront in the city to sprucing it up for the long haul. 
Definitely, a much more colorful Saint Paul than we are used to.

Saint Paul MN - Summer 2020

The abnormal summer that will go down in history as Covid2020 no doubt. 
But thanks to cousin Linda, one of my "hot" masks........

Twin Cities MN - Felt like the offical start of the bike season

Three of us took off and had a picture perfect weather day for a ride - and we were able to find a coffee spot, with treats, to stop at without having to wait, and wait and wait to get in. 
Most things still boarded up - all part of the new abnormal called 2020. 

Saint Paul MN - Beautiful evening out there

Great day and beautiful evening as well.
Enjoyed the moon rising from the and things have quieted down but evenings continue to be filled with helicopters, sirens and vehicles racing all over the place. 

Minneapolis MN - Stopping by ground zero

Beautiful day - out for a bike ride. 
Didn't have a plan but ended up blocks from the murder site of last week and chose to wander over and participate in the experience. 

Saint Paul MN - A quiet BBQ

Figured Cheikh and I would do some burgers on the grill and clean out the frig a bit before he moves in to his new spot for the summer. 
And then just shot out a couple texts and found a couple more to join us - and eat more....
Yigit, one of the new roommates joined the party as well. 
Got talking and sent them home a bit later than curfew but everyone got home safe and sound and a good night had by all.
