Saint Paul - Mary hits another landmark...extra discounts at Herbergers on Wednesdays

Marys annual birthday dinner to celebrate another year. The best April night we have celebrated the birthday and a feisty crowd to cheer her on in the next year.
Asked earlier to day if it was a good evening I could only say that it was certainly memorable when Sonia and Mary were going for cleavage photo shots when asked to pose!
Murray who is not a spice man thought the chicken was great and Greg thought his mouth was on fire - go figure....or maybe it was just the cleavage that turned things upside down. Had Mary known of her Mark Bittman book at the same time no ideas what else may have occurred.

Saint Paul MN - the bike season begins

After a March with no snow, hasn't happened in 130 years, we have had April coming on stronger than ever. We are getting spring weeks before we get usually enjoy it.
We had our first ride over the weekend and gathered a strong group of 10 with some oldies and some new members to the team.
A bit cool, not sure Carly even remembers that age anymore, so many many weeks til we get to her benchmark but we are off and ready to move the bike season forward.
Even got to see of those other "bikers" when we stopped for coffee and a bit of conversation.

Los Cabos Mexico - Sunshine heaven!

Another year at Cabo. A bit quieter but no less wonderful.
We enjoyed the sun, the water, the desert and all the amenities in between. Another year of ziplining and a great ride on the water with Javier.
We even needed code words if we had to think fast and take control of the situation...thanks for worrying about our lives Evan...
Millie and I continue to be great creatures of our habit to walk up and down the mountain on a daily basis...and find some alternative variations that take us off here and there to spots unknown or up for development. Clears our heads for the rest of the day if it does nothing else. And just hang with us one morning and all the worlds problems are resolved before we are done.

Saint Paul - over the top finish for the month of March

Floods subsiding, record warm days, things getting ready to bloom and no snow for the month - hasn't happened in 130 years. We missed April and jumped right to May.
Not often that I can say I have several bike rides in before April 1 - usually if I am brave I can get one in as long as I go with my winter wear on as well.
And partying a bit with Jim and Lynn Clare to finish off the month...perfect! Actually a new life showing up in several spots in downtown Saint Paul - good to see and enjoy.
