Snow is not worth a big conversation in Minnesota. But getting in twice in 2 days in early October, with a third on the way, makes for something out of the ordinary.
We all tried to explain to Davide last night that this isn't "normal" - but the weather this year has been anything but normal so may be part of a the new normal in Minnesota.

Twin Cities Marathon 2009

I am just south of the TC Marathon route - between mile 22 and 23. Didn't know as many people running as in previous years. But there were a few. Ran in to many people along the route as I worked to get to the mile 24 marker to join Margie and Jimbo as we waited for our Colorado cousin Tim to pass. Tried to capture the moment on video and the batteries ran out as he approached - didn't know what all the beeping was until it was too late...

Just off her big gold winning rowing event in Des Moines, Millie showed off her gold at "Chez Greg" in Goodhue MN. It was a pre-dinner before her Mississippi River race on Sunday morning.
A great evening to finish off a cold, rainy week - and Greg even had the heat on! I think we got the whole summers worth of rain over a couple day period.
