Denver has the comfort and ease of the midwest with the great backdrop of the Rockies surrounding it. As the gateway to the west you see all the reminders and some of the early grandeur but it is always fun to walk around the corner and have that great moment of WOW as you see how they integrate it with the present and the boldness it deserves with the mountain vista behind it.

Boulder CO - Shakespeare Festival picnic on the lawn

My good buddy Mell has spent many years involved both as a volunteer and professional working with the Colorado Shakespeare Festival. We are met professionally and have kept connected through some amazing opportunities and events.
A trip that came up let me enjoy half of the Shakespeare experience - the mountains, the campus, Boulder, the picnic on the lawn but will have to get back another year to enjoy the on stage experience...already working that one in the plans.
