Stillwater - the annual birthday party....a little late but always lots of fun

Dan Sandor and I have celebrated our birthdays together since his first. I have been out of the country for work for a few and he has found the whole thing a whole lot less interesting as he has gotten older, except for the gifts and cheesecake! So we have mostly settled on an ever growing crowd of my friends enjoying a cold winter night toasting me into another year. With my travel we pushed it out many extra weeks - and it was light when we all arrived. Got to enjoy the wonderful view on Moonlight Bay.

NYC - the excitement never goes away

San Jose del Cabo

A drive to the other side. A completely different feel over here. A much older, more established, community that has been around since th 1700s. There is a wonderful restaurant across the street from the Catholic Church and the town square that we like. You walk into to a wonderful entry and hallway. There are three levels/rooms of seating - all open air with huge trees with lights towering above with moon and stars creating the ceiling.

Cabo San Lucas - Pacifico...........the zen buddha place

Next door to us is Pacifico - same group and complex but a holistic health and wellness resort. Very cool, but very different then Sunset Beach. Greg made himself at home in the king size "beach" beds - was worried he would never leave. Lots of expansion going surrrounding and between the two resorts - no doubt it will be another place in another year.

Todo Santos and Cerritos - Art and a day at the beach

About an hour drive north on a wonderful 2 lane highway we spent time wandering the streets of Todo Santos. And stopped for a bit of sun and surfing before heading home for the evening. We all took to the waves and had a few good swallows of salt water before cruising home.

Cabo San Lucas - getting in the groove

Cool and windy day one but settled right down on day two and we all got to the business of relaxing. Millie and I do our daily walk up the mountain and back - Greg guards our seats at the pool. Our units this year are right on the beach - very cool. All is well in Cabo.

Goodhue - 30 years and the party keeps going.....

For over 30 years a group has gathered in March at Flora Murrays for an evening of laughs, conversation and celebration of Greg's birthday. You may not always appreciate the conversation and themes but you sure can't call it a boring evening............to 56 and many many more.

Madrid - caught in the act
